Can I still come if I'm on acne medication or using retinoids?

Accepted Answer

Certain medications (Accutane, retinol, glycolic acids, etc..) can make skin more fragile. Facial waxing may be contraindicated. Please disclose medications during intake so we can ensure safety.

What makes waxing different than sugaring?

Waxing uses resin-based wax, often heated hot, applied against hair growth, pulling hair and skin together, while sugaring uses a natural sugar, water, lemon paste, & applied lukewarm.
